Tip-Up Town USA - Winter Fun for Everyone!

January 16th-18th, and 23rd-25th!!!

We're getting ready for another great Tip-Up Town USA! Michigan's largest winter festival takes place on January 16th-18th, and 23rd-25th.  It is in it's 59th year and promises to be bigger and better than ever before! Bookmark this site to keep up to date with all the activities planned for 2009. And  check the blog regularly for Tip-Up Town gossip and more. Once again you can participate in the best fun that winter can offer for the price of the $5 entry badge (valid both weekends). Mark your calendars now for the last two weekends of January in beautiful Houghton Lake.

Doggie Show at the Family Fun Tent!!
Come to the Family Fun Tent On Saturday January 17th at 1:45pm, and Saturday January 24th at 11:30am. to see the Doggie Show. Anyone can bring a dog. There will be a costume contest, look-a-like contest, Trick Show Down & musical chairs!!
Polar Bear Dip Saturday January 24th. 1pm.
People come from all around to watch the hundreds of people who brave Houghton Lake's icey waters. This is a must see event for the entire Family!!

What better way to get in the spirit than to wear TUT Apparel!! You will find this apparel at these local retailers; Houghton lake Big Boy, Coyle's Restaurant, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and of course the Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce!
TUT Family Night Tailgate, 6 to 10pm.
Friday nights just got more fun. We will have bonfires, and skating for kids and adults. The Family Fun Tent will be open with games, live entertainment, auctions, and contests. Also, we will have a Beverage Tent to serve the adult crowd.
